NAPLES ME
Naples Bandstand
Naples Village Green
Built - 1969

The town of Naples is located in Cumberland County northwest of Portland in the Sebago Long Lake region of the state. The town has its beautiful Bay of Naples as its calling card which attracts throngs of people all year round especially during the summer months for days of relaxation or overnight stays in the inns in town or around the lake. It is beautifully located within pine forests and crystal clear lakes and inlets.
The town's bandstand was built in 1969 and has been used for band concerts and community events every year. It is of a very simple design to jell with buildings in the the area and is located on the town's vast village green. Not only does the structure play host to numerous concerts during the summer but is also used for Santa Claus visits during Christmas.
The bandstand is a replica of a previous bandstand that is now at the Sunrise Cove Cabins nearby after it had served time as an added porch on the town's Barker Property.
