NEWBURY VT
Newbury Green
Built - 1991

Newbury is a town in Orange County in the Lebanon Metro Region. It was named after Newbury in Massachusetts.
Their bandstand was built in Newbury Green in 1991 and is the first one the town has had. Townspeople aged 5 to 85 years old, helped build the structure under the supervision and spearhead of Art Morris for the town's bi-centennial. The bandstand was financed by a very successful drive of donations in the name of people's memories. The structure's exact location was debated by people of the town but the final resting spot serves quite well for everyone. Local bands use the pine structure sported with cedar shakes on the roof as their venue along with annual fiddler's contests, the Cracker Barrel Fair and numerous weddings.
