Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center
Simsbury Meadows
Built - 2001

The magnificent Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center was built in 2001 and is located on the sprawling grounds of Simsbury Meadows. The large structure was built for the town as an improved venue for the Talcott Mountain Music Festival and is home to the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. The town of Simsbury oversaw the construction of the bandstand through private contributions and state bonding. Many well-known groups or individuals have performed on its stage including the Beach Boys, Franki Vallie and Allison Krause and is a perfect place to watch concerts since there is a large grassy area for lawn chairs as well as an adjoing athletic field so thousands can enjoy performances on stage.
